Superseal Connectors

TE Superseal sealed automotive connectors, stocked in Canada. Available in the 1.0 and 1.5 series, from 2-way up to 34-way.

Choosing between 1.0 and 1.5. Superseal 1.0 uses a smaller 1.0mm terminal and is the one you want for high cavity counts — the 26 and 34-way connectors are the standard choice for ECU and bulkhead pass-throughs where you need a lot of circuits in a manageable body. Superseal 1.5 uses a larger 1.5mm terminal and suits sensor and actuator circuits carrying more current.

Both are fully sealed and designed for engine bay use, with rear wire seals and a positive lock.

Terminals. We stock the standard TE stamped terminal and the Race Spec SS 1.0 solid contact. The solid contact is machined rather than stamped, which gives a more consistent crimp and better long-term contact resistance — worth the upgrade on anything that has to survive vibration and heat cycling.

Tooling. Superseal terminals crimp with the TE 58583-1 ratcheting hand tool. Cavity plugs are available for any unused positions.
